BAROMETER TRADING'S LEADERSHIP
William C. Feeley, CAIA
Founder and Managing Officer

Mr. Feeley has 44 years of experience as an investor, capital markets professional, entrepreneur and operating executive. Prior to Barometer Trading, Mr. Feeley was CEO of Feeley Capital Markets, LLC, (“FCM”), a business formed to provide advisory and financing services to corporate issuers and make selected private and public investments. Barometer acquired FCM on July 1, 2021. Mr. Feeley most recently was serving predominantly Fortune 50 companies with advisory and financing services including managing many public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. He has assisted hundreds of issuers in raising tens of billions of dollars in IPOs, and secondary and follow-on transactions in a wide variety of industries. Previously he was CFO of an award-winning Internet retailer and prior to this, he was Head of Capital Markets for Wit SoundView, where he played an important role in the successful IPO for its predecessor, Wit Capital Group, Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Feeley was Co-Head, Equity Capital Markets at Bankers Trust, and EVP, Head of Corporate Finance and Distribution Services for Kemper Securities, Inc.
Mr. Feeley established Barometer Trading to expand his Equity Long/Short investing and trading business while supporting in-prison education and re-entry programs for formerly incarcerated individuals. He hired and trained a half-dozen Associate Traders from this universe and substantially out-performed Wall Street. But the business failed to meet profit goals because allocators wouldn’t support his team of former felons and so he has pivoted to a traditional model. Mr. Feeley graduated with a BSBA from Georgetown University and has an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago. He is a charter holder as Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (“CAIA”).
